Runtime Error 481 – Invalid Picture

SYMPTOMS

This error message could appear when trying to access the Main Menu.

CAUSE

This can be caused by a missing or corrupted advert on the Mortgage Brain main menu.

RESOLUTION

Open My Computer and double click on the C: drive (or the drive which Mortgage Brain has been installed on).
Then open the MBL Folder. In the MBL folder open the ADS folder and press Ctrl and A on your keyboard simultaneously. This will highlight all the files within the ADS folder. Now press Delete and say Yes to delete. Now go back into the MBL folder and open the MNU folder. In the MNU folder look for the file MNUADS.dat. Highlight this file and press delete (make sure you only delete this MNUADS.dat file). Now try accessing the Mortgage Brain main menu again. This should solve the problem (It is advisable to update again after fixing this problem).
