ERROR

No Error but the menu minimises.

SYMPTOMS

When trying to access the Mortgage Brain software, the menu keeps minimising to the task bar at the bottom of the screen.

CAUSE

A known bug in the configuration file causes this problem to occur on the Main Menu.

RESOLUTION

To rectify this problem, you must do the following – firstly, make sure Mortgage Brain is closed.

1. Right click over the Mortgage Brain shortcut on the desktop > Left click on Properties > Click on the Shortcut tab and then click on Find Target/Open File Location

2. This will open up the MBL directory, You need to locate the file named: mbmnu.ini, this is a configuration file.

3. Once you’ve located the file, left click on it once to highlight it > Click on Edit on the top toolbar and then click on DELETE.

4. Once this is done, this will rectify the problem.
